As many of you know, I almost messed up Dave's cunning plan for a proposal!

We had talked about going to Paris for quite some time and Christmas 2010 I decided I would buy Dave a trip to Paris as a present.  Little did I know, Dave too was scheming to take me away and pop the big question.  After reorganising the presents, it was settled that we would take our trip in February 2011.  There we decided to take an extravangant dinner river cruise, here was where he planned on asking me.  However I made friends with a French couple who didn't speak any English so he had to bide his time.

After leaving the boat, we walked up to the sparkling Eiffel Tower and in his sweetest of manners, he went down on one knee and pulled out the most beautiful ring I'd ever seen, asking me to marry him.  With tears in my eyes...of course I said yes!
